Zero Trust Government Symposium 2023

Location: National Harbor, Maryland
Date: July 19, 2023
Venue: The Sunset Room, National Harbor, MD
Organizer: Defense Strategies Inst.

The 2023 Symposium aims to gather government and Department of Defense (DoD) leaders for in-depth discussions on the concept of Zero Trust as more than just a product or service, but as a strategic approach. Rather than relying on traditional perimeter-based security methods, Zero Trust emphasizes the verification of every user, device, and application for each point of access. The introduction of the May 2021 Cybersecurity Executive Order prompted a significant shift towards Zero Trust architectures, leading to the adoption of various tools such as identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) solutions, data governance, and automation.
